I thought I'd update the thread to let you know I've had a response from POPLA...
Dear My name
Thank you for submitting your parking charge Appeal to POPLA.
An Appeal has been opened with the reference 85##########
Smart Parking have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge.

A small win :j for me... Thank you for pointing me in the right direction - I have to say I found it hard going, but I'm glad I persevered... I didn't even upload the video & photos with my appeal, it wouldn't let me, so I added a paragraph in the box describing my pfd upload along the lines of 'that as the website would not upload any further pictures or videos I would be saving them for the court case if my appeal was unsuccessful.'
I hope it encourages other victims of these parking pariahs to fight for their own cases, if I can do it anyone can.0 -
