Barclaycard. Advice needed please!!

Hopefully sbdy can advice me on what to do. Barclaycard have increased my cc card from 13.9% to 18.9% few months back.. i only noticed this month..(i know i know should i look at my statement more closely.. i've already called myself all names...!!). When i called they said it's their right to change when they want...
I'm a stay at home mum for the mo so with no income on my own and not sure if i can switch or else..
Annoying as i see that they offer 14.9% and no interes for months for new customers...
Could you advice on what to do next? that cc is killing me...

you should try switching, you are never locked in... unless you can't find another credit card company to transfer the debt too.

You can also try credit card stoozing?

This is when you transfer as soon as your current credit card promotion ends. e.g. you sign up to a card offering 0% for 9 months, just before month 9 you transfer to a new company offering another 9% months at 0%.
