One Call insurance - avoid!

@smurfmoon
One call are pretty incompetent in my experience.... And according to the fca - a quick google search reveals a report on them.
I'd get the wording about hire cars from your policy and show them. If this is a second claim they still should provide a car.
Maybe they have a second garage that you can get the work done to fix the car? It should come off the driver's insurance surely? Be careful about how they list this accident also regarding fault or non fault etc

The scam continues..... we now have a second car from their garage, however it is unsafe to drive as there is a problem with the offside wheel bearing. They still have our car. They are now in dispute with the 3rd party insurers, Aviva, for claiming for damage not consistent with the accident. We have spoken to the guy who hit our car and he's got back to us with details from Aviva. One Call are claiming for damage that didn't occur in the accident as it was damage caused by their driver when he reversed our car into a lamppost. I have also received a letter from OCL Solicitors with a form about whiplash for me to complete. I wasn't in the car when the guy hit me and I do not have whiplash. My husband has spoken to the third party and told him to notify his insurance co. I've never come across such a strange business practice re insurance and all the companies & sols seem to link into One Call. hmmmmm

Avoid - One Call has NO ONE to call when your in trouble... could not access portal after being stopped by police...I still have problems accessing their portal as the email verification does not work. Used comparison website but didn't realise the system had imported old registration number, this has caused me 6 points and a fine...I did check on DVLA site 1 month after getting insurance from one call and this confirmed I had insurance cover so I could tax car...0

At the end of the day if you ask them to insure AB12ABC when your car is BA55XYZ because that was your old reg or as you mistyped there really is only one person at fault.0 -
Apparently it isn't just me that has difficulty trying to contact One Call insurance...Just taking a look at the reviews on the TrustPilot site tells a lot about this company.My personal recommendation is, don't deal with them.0
