Untaxed Car

Hi all,

I've recently bought a car and I'm keeping it on a friend's drive until I get it insured.

The car isn't taxed but it's not on the road. Do I need to register it as SORN?

Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN).

It has to be either taxed or SORN.

It either needs to be taxed and insured or sorned. Not doing either will most likely result in an automated fine from Dvla.
