Dont think it does. I tried to order a DS last night and it never worked but it did discount the CD's I bought.

You assumed right! To be honest, I've never thought of it in that way, but I suppose that 2 % discounts are never really going to add up to their 'assumed' value.... 10+10 is actually 19 as you rightly pointed out!

Oh and ladies and gentlemen, if you are looking for a cd or dvd check you cant get it cheaper on thse search engines (they have saved me loads!)

I got the same e-mail from HMV as well and it says:
You can't get 15% off pre-orders, vouchers, downloads, consoles, and mp3 players*. But everything else is up for grabs, and we offer free UK shipping too.

Thanks, jamtart. I've always used the DVD and CD search sites, but didn't know about the games and books. Will add them to my list!

Wow! I did get a bargain!

I get a weekly email from HMV and have bought lots of box-sets when they are on offer at very silly prices. If you want to receive it, you need to open an account (not money, just name, address and email) here
