HMV 15% off Wed and Thurs only

Received this mail, which says to pass it on ..... so I am.

We can't believe it - we've won five awards at hmv. We couldn't have done it without you, so we want to say a big thank you.

Here's an extra 15% off almost everything at hmv.com. This offer runs all this Wednesday and Thursday so get in there quick. If you know anyone who'd like 15% off too, just forward this message to them.

This offer's going to be huge so things may take a little longer to arrive.

To get your 15% off, enter this code: HMV015 at hmv.com. You can't get 15% off pre-orders, vouchers, downloads, consoles, and mp3 players*. But everything else is up for grabs, and we offer free UK shipping too.

Thanks again, from all of us at hmv.

HMV already had the cheapest price for the 2 dvds I wanted to order so this 15% off is a nice bonus. thanks for that :)

Plus 6% through topcashback as quidco have reduced there from 8% to 2% for this promotion!

I've always found HMV to be very good (and quick) - last week I managed to get the complete X-Files for £65, all nine series on 63 discs. The price elsewhere seemed to be around £150, so it was a very good offer. If you sign up on the HMV website for their weekly e-mails, they have some really good (but inexplicable) bargains.

But, before you buy, check the prices out with https://www.find-dvd.co.uk to make sure you are getting a bargain.

Can it be used with student discount?
    Illegitimi non carborundum.
  • Don't know if you can use two codes with HMV. Why not just try it and see? Please let me know if it works.

I actually think I'm going to wait for this one. The sneaky HMV lot have reduced their cashback on quidco from 10% down to 2% for today and tomorrow only, which meansI'll get this offer's 15% + 2% = 17%

wheras if I wait until Friday, I get 10% student discount and 10% quidco...only 3% but every little helps.

This is still a great offer for those who dont have student cards! thanks to OP!

Assuming that you are not a maths student ;)
    10% discount + 10% discount = 19% discount but you are correct that those combined are better than 15% + 2% = 16.7% (I believe)

Not trying to be picky, well I suppose I am, but I don't mean to be nasty.

You are indeed better to hold off.:D

Thanks - I've just ordered a box set of the Band of Brothers for my dad's birthday.

At 15% discount £12.74 + 6% topcashback (I've not used them before), so if my calculations are correct, I've got it at £11.98. :)

The length of time it will take him to get through this series, it works out cheaper than renting!
