Speak to a broker, but its likely you will need to wait for a few more months....how much deposit have you managed to save up?

I asked L and C and they stated 12 months temping is minimum and another broker has found a mortgage company that will accept 6 months temping but that broker wants £600 for their fee.

There you go, broker has found a lender that may look at your situation. Happy day!

If you can't afford the broker are you sure you can afford the mortgage and associated fees for solicitors etc?

You need to keep saving - there will be legal fees, search fees, application fees, moving fees and surveys to pay - not to mention if you want to update your home when yo get it.

That makes very little difference I am afraid.

On top of those fees, I dont need to pay the £600 if I or someone can suggest a mortgage company that will allow 6 months temping salary.

A broker can advise you - but they are a professional and charge fees.

If another poster on here is a temp worker for 4 months also and got a mortgage with a high street lender thats one thing, but their circumstances will be different to yours, deposit will be different etc etc, so you could apply for mortgages on the off chance and be declined. Apply for 2 or more and you will have to wait 6 months to apply again as multiply credit searches will be recorded on your credit file.
