    Yes. Send it now.

    Remember, it is the Defendant, your son?, that has to sign it.

    Your Defence should be filed via email as described here:

    1) print your Defence
    2) sign it
    3) scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    4) send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    5) just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
  • Thank you so much for your help, you have calmed my panic. Just hope this works. I will do this asap. School run now :{

    In post #2 I said this and I mean, hurry up:
    Just do it,
    Not ask whether it's too late and miss another day!

    Your son must sign & date a printed copy and email it with the claim number and the words DEFENCE - URGENT in the subject line.

    To the CCBCAQ Justice email, like in the thread by oldnfat where we are repeating EXACTLY the same basic stuff right now. Please don't ask for a link to that thread!

  • I wont, I did read that post and plenty of others, I understand it must be frustrating, but with no knowledge whatsoever about what we're doing it can be extremely daunting.
    Really appreciate all the help on here though.
    Fingers crossed.
    I will let you know what happens
