DLA change of circumstances

If someone has been on the lowest rate of DLA mobility, their condition worsens after the age of 70, and they want their claim looking at again. Would dwp, if successful, change her to PIP or adjust her claim on DLA?

It would be DLA because PIP is only for people of working age/B]

    Neither.
After 65, the mobility award cannot change.

The care award can be increased. But "someone" needs to get accredited advice before asking for the claim to be looked at again.
What care award does she get currently and why?

If she now needs frequent help with her personal care needs throughout the day, it would be worth seeking advice (Age UK, CAB) as it whether the middle care rate may now apply.

If she needs help throughout the day, whether she gets that help or not then she may be able to claim it. I would advise a visit to her local CAB before deciding to start a claim. See more about AA here.

AA doesn't have the mobility component, when you're doing the comparison.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    No.
    She would be worse off.

No mobility element, and no cooking test for low rate care with AA compared to DLA.

Did you actually read the link pmlindyloo linked to?

    Age UK or CAB.
