Thinking of joining TT, but I read they bar numbers such as 18866
I use this all the time with PlusNet so its imperative I can keep this going if I were to jump ship
18866 on their web site state:-
Once you have registered your telephone number and payment details you can start using Call18866 immediately. From non-BT landlines just dial 0808 1 701 701, wait for the voiceprompt and enter the follow-on telephone number. For example: 0808 1 701 701 -wait for voiceprompt- then the number you require
Has anyone used this via Talk Talk, I cant see how they can bar an 0808 number ?

AFAIK, the 0800/0808 call rates aren't quite as good as the rates you get with access number you currently use, but I doubt TT could block access to 0800/0808 numbers0 -
Yes, I carried out a text call from my work landline and it came up with 2p per min
I think the norm is 1.5p
Still its a darn site cheaper that a normal PAYG call
I make very few landline calls, possibly one a week, the rest are via my mobile contact~0
