It's the type of cover people take out when they see a colleague claim for an expensive item eg a piece of kit they have damaged in the field costing £3k or a big march out claim, you tend to get a big rush of new customers then.
Or many C.Os instruct their new recruits to source cover and a declaration of war prompts lots of customers.
We used to get lots of new customers when someone "dropped" their television down the stairs while moving it. We would then get loads of new customers from the same regiment when they realise they get a new tv for the old one. Coincidently these new customers would start dropping their televisions down the stairs a couple of months later0
