Indemnity Policy?

I thought a Gas Safety Certificate was a legal requirement of the landlord's when letting a property. Not sure any indemnity policy is a substitute but perhaps G_M or one of the other helpful LL's on here will come along and clarify this.0

Its not required as a form in order to sell a property.
The certification I thought the OP was referring to was the actual certificate given out to the person who is the owner of the property when the boiler is installed.
The OP I understand will be renting the property out once purchased so will require a gas safety certificate for their onward tenant.
An indemnity would cover the initial installation of the boiler but not give any coverage regarding the gas safety certificate
