Hi all cant seem to make the price drop to £169 even at checkout it is £199

Yep ... Freeview can work on an inside aerial as long as the signal is strong in your area ... boost may be needed.

Yes you can open the box and look at the tv, the distance selling regulations allow you to do this no matter what M+S think

Think OP may be getting confused with the free delivery on the right of the screen it mentions £30

I've checked again on the payment page and the £30 special promotion is no longer showing; I didn't need to put a code in, it was just deducted automatically, but I have got the print out in front of me confirming the final price as £169 so I didn't dream it!

Sorry if it was a glitch that has now been sorted.
