Parking Eye - Hospital

I fear I have found this thread rather late but looking to seek advice.
During my partners pregnancy we were in and out of hospital a lot, often multiple times the same day. I got in the habit of paying for parking via web/phone. The trips were done both in my car and my partners car.
On one occasion I arrived at 20:37 and left at 01:17. I paid for a ticket at 23:20 which lasted until 03:20. There are two problems, i) I parked for longer than the 4hrs I paid for and ii) I bought the ticket under the wrong license number (my partners car rather than mine).
To further exasperate the issue I have unintentionally neglected to deal with the issue and I now have a County Court claim issued against me. This is partially due to I thought I actually had - we had three tickets from Parking Eye during a 2-3 week period and thought had dealt with them all. Apparently not.
Have I left it too late to do anything bar pay the £145?

No.

#2 there shows you how to deal with a mcol and prepare a defence
It's a bit late but also still complain about this to Pals at the hospital and ask them to get it cancelled0 -
Show us your defence like everyone else. No point PAYING! Well worth the fight.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Check thoroughly....we had three tickets from Parking Eye during a 2-3 week period and thought had dealt with them all. Apparently not.
Do not take the word of the PPC that money is still owing.
It is not unheard of for parking companies to continue to chase an alleged debt after the full sum has been paid.0
