Solicitors enquiries.. How long is a piece of string?

We are FTB, our solicitors sent the sellers solicitors queries two weeks ago. I chased last week and it was in typing? I chased again today but didn't quite believe the solicitor when she said the responses are with the seller to review. How long until we get this back roughly? Feels like a lifetime.

Depends on so many things.

When we received enquiries on our house sale from our solicitor we replied the same day by email and this was sent back to them the day after.

On our purchase, our solicitor sent enquires 7 weeks ago, we recieved about half back in a couple of weeks and have heard nothing since at all, despite my solicitor chasing weekly!
