Ventilation improvements necessary?

For the bathroom fan, if there is a loft above something like this inline is far better than a regular surface mount fan. you can get various options with timers and humidistats.

If you are not the resident its also important to do something to make sure the ventilation devices are being used, like humidstats.0 -
The previous fan was connected to the light switch, as a lot of these things are, so that forces them to be used (when they're still in working condition).
It's a ground-floor bathroom, so I figure connecting the fan to the loft would probably be tricky. The one you linked to looks good, but I'm not sure how it would work in the existing space. I'm used to ones more like the square-fronted Manrose QF100T (sorry, I'm not allowed to post links here yet), for example (and there's obviously that shape of hole there already). I fully admit my ignorance - is there some way to fit the type you suggest in the kind of space already there for that other type?0 -
When I looked for a bathroom fan I decided to go with a similar to this: https://www.extractorfanworld.co.uk/st100ht-silent-tornado-hi-power-bathroom-fan-with-humidistat--timer-3437-p.asp (I'm not advertising, just had this bookmarked. I bought a cheaper one with timer but pretty much the same spec performance-wise)
If there's already a fan in place this most likely can easily replace it. And it's good in my opinion, I've got quite a large bathroom and it copes very well, so for a small bathroom this should be sufficient.0 -
Have you thought about one of these

We have one running at night and it eliminates the condensation that forms on the windows if its turned off. It definitely works as we turned it off as it needed new filters and I had to clean the windows.
As for extract fans, Id go to screwfix or similar supplier.0 -
