Vodafone signed me up to a sole trader contract

Hi everyone,
New here and apologies if this is not the correct place to post this. Admin feel free to move it! I have posted it here since the issue detailed below is harming my credit rating.
A while back now I went to Vodafone to get a data only sim for my router at home. I signed up to it and the guy in the shop told me it was data capped and it wasn't. Long story short I racked up a huge bill and am in a dispute with Vodafone.
It has transpired during these talks that I am on a business contract as a sole trader....I have no idea why they have done this, I am certainly not a business.
Does anyone know if this changes my rights in any way?
Any answers will be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

I wouldn't have thought so, as long as you can prove you're a customer and not a business.
What did the contract terms say about the data cap and type of contract?0 -
Did you say something along the lines..."I work from home" to them when buying?0
-
Thanks for the responses.
1. I took his word for it which was dumb...so there is no proof either way
2. No I didn't tell them that I worked from home or anything like that
The contract didn't have business written on it or anything like that and I was not told I was signing a business contract.0 -

It doesn't mention the data cap at all. As I said I made the mistake of taking his word for it.
It has transpired, after talks with people on Live Chat, that you cannot cap my data sim. I am not sure if it is due to it being a business one or not.0 -
It doesn't sounds as if you have much chance, unless they are feeling generous and willing to make a goodwill gesture.0

Yep I thought that might be the case.
Just thought the business contract thing was odd and wonder if they are treating me like a business in the whole thing rather than a personal account.0 -
