Their mobile site is clunky. There is not much info, are they really giving their money to charity or pocketing it?

No address or telephone number on their website, nor who they actually are."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

If you really are Little Debits you need permission from MSE to post on the forum. Post reported.0 -
How much profit (the charity bit) do you make per £1 DD, and how much goes in operating costs?LittleDebits wrote: »...All profits go to charity..."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
It's a smart alec who is hoping to cash in on the desperation of some people to get DDs for current account switching and for current account interest payments and rewards. With a little bit of research and thinking, such DDs can be had without paying an anonymous person who claims that profits go to unnamed charities, and who publishes zilch information about their costs and profits.0

There are plenty of options of charities who would accept a £1 per month direct debit, cutting out this unnecessary middleman.
The owner of that site is using GoCardless to process the direct debits, so 20p in every pound will be going to them. Then there will be the money creamed off by the website owner - which could be anything up to the remaining 80p in the pound.0 -
I see no evidence that they've given a penny to charity yet, though their next accounts are due soon.

That's not surprising. There's not very much involved in setting up an operation like this. It's much the same as affiliate marketing, but the market is very niche.0

Apropos of nothing in particular, I did quite enjoy Elbow's last album, not truly their finest hour but a decent listen anyway....

Also, do you take a salary?0 -
I find it ironic that this company makes money by selling a service to those who are defined by their actions as willing to work hard to maximising their income.
It's a bit like selling swimming costumes to fish. Those who need more DDs than they can generate themselves are not going to pay for them.0
