Hello
I do have the car booked in for next week but i`m due to travel on a 450 mile round trip thursday so not sure i should
I noticed my car weeping underneath on the driveway , i intitally thought it was oil but after putting a bowl underneath it appears to have a green tinge to it and smells a little like diesel but not 100% sure
its (sadly for me) a hynundai santa fe 2005
any advice guys?
A picture of underneath and 2 hours worth of whatevers leaking

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I presume you've checked levels under the bonnet? Brake, clutch and pas fluid would be the obvious ones to check.
Does the fluid mix with water?0 -
If it's green, my guess would be cooling water. Antifreeze often has a bright green dye added to it.
You may get a better idea by looking in all the fluid bottles under the bonnet and see if any of them contains something green. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
If it's water from the cooling system , it will have a sweet taste ( don't drink gallons though )0

Most modern cars use OAT antifreeze which is orange.
Does your car have air conditioning? Have you been using it and have you only noticed the leaks since you've been using it? If so then nothing is wrong and that is normal for aircon to discharge water. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Condensation dripping from aircon would be my guess... (assuming all other fluid levels are OK)0

I was also going to say condensation from air con. Have you used the air con while stationary0

Back in the day yes now OAT is Bright orange, bright pink bright bright lime green depending on what colour takes your fancy (or garages buy in bulk the cheapest). Most modern cars use OAT antifreeze which is orange.
