Damaged dining table from Debenhams bought 18 months ago

So as per title really, ordered and £800 table and chair set from Debenhams, after 4 months cracks started to appear where the wood in the centre and around the border met. Debenhams hummed and hawed but eventually sent someone to fix it. I wasn’t overly impressed with the fix but had a new baby and was suffering badly from post natal depression so just accepted it.
Then 2 months later cracks appeared in the chairs, Debenhams eventually replaced them.
Now in may this year I decided to complain about the table again as more cracks have appeared, pretty much all the way around. Debenhams are completely uninterested as we are outside warranty. They say the manufacturers say it’s not a manufacturing fault, but is due to aftercare. When I asked her to tell me where in the aftercare instructions it gave instructions on how to avoid the cracks, she eventually read all the instructions to me and picked up on a section which said that some cracks may appear where two pieces of wood are joined together. Quite simply if this happens to tough luck, not a manufacturing fault.
I’m obv not happy and want to take to further. I got her to send me a deadlock letter. But what I want to know if what is the best next step. Should I go down the route of retailADR or section 75?

After this amount of time the onus will be on you to demonstrate that it is an inherent fault and not the wear and tear they are suggested.
You may need an independent report to try to prove this.
If you can you can accept further repair or you can ask for replacement if you wish. You are not obliged to accept more than one repair/replacement though so if at that point you want to reject for a (partial) refund you could.0
