Interactive Investor fund switching

I have an II account and want to switch funds. On the platform, options are sell and buy. With HL switch is an option.
What I would like to know is if I sell can I immediately buy to complete the switch. What I don’t want is to be out of the market for several days waiting for cash to arrive then to buy once received.
Thanks.

A switch is a sell and buy. Just joined up.
Do II prefund "switches"?
Even with platforms that have the switch option, you only reduce time out of the market if the platform prefunds.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I have just moved from HL to ii and that is one of the functions you lose. On HL you can switch up to 90% of your holding, selling and buying on the same day. There is no such option on ii, but you don't need to be out of the market for several days; once the sell trade is confirmed you can buy.0

Thanks, I'd been wondering this and not seen it confirmed anywhere. (A shame, but I think I'll save enough in fees to swallow it.)0
