Car accident injury claim

Hi I had an accident in January, the other side admitted liability but then they didn’t reply within a 21day period so my insurance company started court proceedings, I then received an offer 2weeks ago tomorrow for £2000 but I have to my physio fees of £525 out of that, my solicitor advised that I reject it so I did,
I was just wondering how long it normally takes to receive a second offer?
Thankyou in advance

I thought it went to court if you rejected the offer?0

Apparently they normally make a 2nd offer 1st0

Ahh, news to me. I suspect it'll take a few weeks. I would guess they'll evaluate their chances in court before deciding how much to increase your offer. If they think you're bluffing (only you know), then they could quite legitimately offer you the same as before.
How confident are you winning in court? Like neil said, court is ideal for nobody, but neither is paying out larger sums than is necessary, at least in their eyes.0 -
so to clarify RTA injury claim through solicitor
the procedure you have a medical , etc etc anything you paid for like physio.. as above
so who does the solicitor go to for your compensation??
if the TP has been taken to court and found guilty who does the solicitor go to then??
sorry to hijack but solicitors are very lacking in passing on this sort of stuff0 -

The solicitor goes to the third party insurer or their legal representatives. Ultimately, they will be paying out.
Court isn't just used to determine fault. If the third party has admitted liability, they can still be taken to Court of agreement cannot be reached regards the level of damages being sought.0 -

So what are your other out of pocket expenses and what were your injuries?
The solicitor should have a good idea of whether they’re £1500 worth or not.0 -

thanks for that debt debt.. could I ask i have a solicitor acting for me.. it is an independant but on the 25% agreement ...
alas not got to the stage off him claiming and my 3 years are up soon... problemI now have is he his closing his practice.. he did fix another company to take over but they don't want the case but they are extremely far from me
So what my problems are
1. he has said find another solicitor an one who will pay him his cost to date
2. he hasn't mentioned the 25% he says get another solicitor to explain
3. when i ring other solicitors they wont explain agreement and dont want to take on.
do you have any ideas how i could engage another solicitor just to save me time.. the area I live is Warwickshire... thanks for you time anyway..0 -

You'd be better starting your own thread so as not to detract from the OP's issue. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
