Is Rev counter MOT testable now?

Hi folks, it seems I've had a bit of misfortune and my rev counter has stopped working on the cluster. I've taken it apart and can see where the problem is but it's difficult to fix.
Anyway my question is: does anyone know whether this item is tested during the MOT with the new changes that have come in? I know previously it's never been on the list.
Many thanks!

Looks like it's only the speedo that's checked. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/449392/mot-inspection-checklist-vt29.pdfDwy galon, un dyhead,

Funnily enough I'm taking my van in for it's MOT this afternoon & this morning out of nowhere the fuel gauge decided to not work!!Dwy galon, un dyhead,

On the subject of rev counters - I know that there are vehicles that do not have them; how do MOT testers do the emissions test when they need to raise the engine speed to around 3k revs? Do they go off experience/feel i.e. guess?0

No, they use the reading generated by the machine that measures engine speed as well as the emissions - they put clamps on the relevant leads under the bonnet.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
