Every time I come back from holiday I want a new shower that has high flow
"Power showers" tend to use existing hot water and electricity to pump it
"Electric showers" just heat up existing cold water
I want an electric shower that has a powerful flow
We have heavy duty wiring in place - Im just looking for a recommendation

I can't recommend anything but I know when I had to use our electric "power shower" for 3 of us (inc 2 teens) my water bill went up by £20 per month!!

I looked into this a while back and found nothing. Because electric showers are essentially kettles, the water comes out at a pre-determined rate. Any faster, and the shower can't heat the water quick enough so it comes out cooler.

A standard mixer shower will come with water heated by the boiler but at mains pressure.

EDIT: "heavy duty" wiring - are you happy it's rated appropriately at the fuse as well as thickness? Anyway Mira do a version with airboost that might be interesting.

FWIW I replaced our old electric shower with a new one and the flow feels faster, though it could be due to the old one gunking up.

They don't exist; only boiler-fed thermostatics or tank-fed power showers are up to the job.

Electric showers are limited by the capacity to heat the water as it enters the shower. They simply cant heat the water quick enough to pump out high flow.

Even a combi boiler and thermostatic shower is limited in this respect by the boiler flow rate.

To get what you really need you need a system with a hot water tank so the water is already at temp and can be pumped as fast as the shower can handle.
