Which Trusted Trader Reviews?

When picking between two separate companies for a new porch i notice both Companies have great reviews on Trustatrader and Checkatrade however, one of them has the Which Trusted Trader sign with 300+ positive reviews on Which Trusted Trader.
The Company without the Trusted Trader sign allows credit card payment giving me section 75 protection but the Company with the Which Trusted Trader reviews does not allow credit card payments.
So i am picking between Credit card protection or Which Trusted Trader protection, anybody know if Which Trusted Trader is just another paid review service or does it represent something better.

Its meaningless. I left a negative review for a Which 'Trusted Trader' around 3 months ago and it has never been published or followed up in any way at all.0

Thank's for the comment, i was afraid that this might be the case!
They seem similar to Checkatrade etc!Time Is The Enemy!0 -
They are a similar scheme to the others, if it was me; i would opt for section 75 all day long!
As long as you are paying the Company and not some third party the Credit Card gives you the best assurance, probably better than the insurance backed guarantees in fact.Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -

I had high hopes when they set it up but unfortunately they are no more reliable than any of the other trader directories. I've had quotes from several with glowing reviews but have been unimpressed with them. I also reported a clearly false review but never had any follow up and it remained on the website for months after.0 -
ever thought why all those 'trust' sites for builders are free?
Because the trader pays for the leads that you set. Each site works slightly different but ALL charge a membership fee. The 'Trader' pays a monthly fee and then each #project' is offered on a cost per lead. If the site askes you the searcher what is your budget, the answer you add has a direct effect on the lead price. Many trader offer silly low prices to get in front of you then sell the dream.
How to get 100% positive feedback.
get you mates to add a few projects, with low 'budget' price. Buy the lead, get the none existent project and a glowing review.
