I tried these sites a while back but I always seemed to spend 20 minutes answering questions and providing data, only to be told at the end that I wasn't suitable for the survey, they bombed me out and I earned nothing, even though they'd collected quite a bit of info about me.

It was infuriating so I gave up on it.

I get that quite a bit with Valued Opinions Thistle - it drives me mad! In fact, once I've cashed out next time, i'm considering not bothering with that one.

I already do OnePoll and PA Scott, don't want to do loads but fancy taking on another one. Which do you find the best aside from OP and PA?

I agree with you about soup. It is soup weather again. I made more soup yesterday so I have a large batch in the fridge :)

Well done on the ebaying and surveys.

It is easier to motivate to so all these things at the beginning so I admire you for keeping your foot on the pedal.

Thanks Scott, i'll take a look at Swagbucks. I'm pretty sure I joined it years ago and never went back to it so i should take a look at it again.

In other news, my husband actually got paid on time (SHOCK HORROR) so i've moved the money around as per my budget for September:

    - £250 into savings pot (total now £250)
    - £150 overpayment into CC1 (total reduction of £200 this month on CC1 alone)

Next week the loan payment will come out and the following week, the CC2 DD will come out (a little over the minimum). Overall, i think we're looking at a £786 reduction in debt this month

The spending account is looking pretty lean but We have enough to do us for the rest of the month and my husband has some cash in his wallet so that will help us cover some bits. We just need to be sensible :)

With the £10 sitting in my paypal account from ebay sales, I bought the special kids shower gel that we use which is normally £4 a pop. It was on offer for £3 each so i bought 3 and did it through click and collect to avoid postage. I love it when something feels free!

Minestrone is on the stove and cottage pie is in progress for dinner tonight. Still feeling rotten but dinner won't cook itself!

    NSD today!

There's nothing we need, lunches are made, i'm ill and feeling sorry for myself at home while trying to get some work done. It's not easy when my brain is so foggy.

At least I have my soup to keep me going. Gosh, i do talk an awful lot about soup!

I do need to get two washings done and hung up, two washings put away and get the kitchen cleaned up but I'm yet to find the motivation to even begin. Maybe when I get up to make my lunch, i can tick off a couple of bits while I'm waiting on the soup to heat through.

    Progress on surveys:
    - £14.31 PA
    - £3 Populuslive
    - £4.65 onepoll
    - £12.75 VO

    Days until payday: 15

Sorry you're feeling ill. At least you can rest at home. I'm just coming out the end of 10 days of sinusitis and general grogginess. It's horrid when you're so busy. Hope yours doesn't last as long!!

Thanks for the warm wishes everyone, i'm not feeling as rough as yesterday so surely I'm on the up. Surely...

I just got £20 in expenses back from my company today, so I've transferred that in to the previously barren holiday fund. It's now up to a grand total of £20! haha
