Kitten

Bit of a long story.
We hand reared a litter of kittens all have brilliant new families .
One lady has paid in full but asked us to keep her kitten until she got back from holiday , which we honoured.
The problem is he hurt his leg , which vet is dealing with and said to go back tomorrow if no better and will do more tests etc , the problem is if the problems are extensive and expensive who is liable for the vets bills ?
Would it be us or his new mummy , as she has paid for him etc and technically we are just looking after him now .
Thank you all so much for help .
And don't worry he will get whatever treatment he needs .

Did he come with a month's free insurance? Many breeders include this and also vets when you first register with them. I am assuming you took him to your own vet?

If he hurt his leg in your care then I would think it is your responsibly. The lady could say she never even had the kitten and it was your duty of care to make sure he did not get hurt.

Not saying it was your fault, kittens are ninja's
