Friend has a new W10 PC

She is 'admin' and he is a secondary user.

I've been in netplwiz (or whatever it's called) and un-ticked 'require password log in' which is fine till .............

They switch user and then have to enter their password.

Is there a way round this - I can't find one :(

I don't think you can prevent this with MS accounts. Surely it can't be that much of an issue in reality? It takes a couple of seconds to type a password in.

Hmm, but if one is logged in and reboots, no password is required.
If you switch user then a password is required
