superantispyware or spybot

edited- made mistake in op. I was asking about the 'best' antispyware products and whether to consider changing spybot for something else. I have decided to try bitdefender for now, spent all day testing different apps out and am happiest with this one for the moment. Thanks all.

  • A layered defence will always be best.

If you are happy with your current set up then why change.

Personally I don't like windows defender and choose to use the paid for version of AVG AS which is proactive.

SuperAntiSpyware after the trial is a on demand scanner so it cause you no issues.

At the end of the day all these programmes are only as good as the common sense you employ

windows defender on Vista, i presume not much cop?

Windows Defender is part of Vista's OS so don't try to remove it as it has other uses other than just detecting Spyware/Malware within Vista.
Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best

Just because it's free don't mean it's good
