I am not sure I have posted before about this in here, but can people give me ideas for window dressings? I really like the old style cafe curtains a la Pinterest; which you can make from old teatowels etc. However, my problem is what to attach the rod with to hang them from. The walls either side of one of the windows isn't straight so a tension rod constantly comes loose. I used to love in Germany where they had little things that went on the window itself and then you attach the rod to the top. I've never seen them anywhere since. I'm rubbish at Diy always have been, and so need something easy which makes the kitchen private but let's the light in. I was also thinking of the paper blind things. Thanks in advance.
