You may have misunderstood this forum. None of the posts in this thread are intended to be "unhelpful or sarcastic responses. I have re-read all posts in the thread and all are fair and fit into the 'money saving expert' ethos.

Put simply your move away from night store heat and water will increase your annual costs by abut 30%. You have already suffered the high capital cost of a replacement hot water cylinder and have the correct on demand only kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms which are generally unused 90% of your 24 hour cycle and the correct E7 type of tariff for your needs.

You spend most [90%] of the colder winter months in your living area, with the exception of the fan convection boost you have a very workable, cheap[er] running costs set-up. You need to hit the comparison sites for a much cheaper tariff [you will be deliberately put on your current providers most expensive tariff (deemed)]
