MBNA Purchase Offers

My MBNA zero percent on purchases is coming to an end soon.
I would like to stay with MBNA if possible.
Is there a way to get another zero percent on purchases offer from them?
Can you get a second card with an offer and transfer the balance?
Or would i need to close the account and apply as a new customer after a set time?

I applied for another one and they agreed to to transfer some of the credit limit from the present card to the new one. I left about £500 on the original card and £7,000 to the new one.
  • You can’t balance transfer cards issued from the same provider

Always used to be the case, but recently I've had a couple of offers from providers that specifically DO allow you to do this. Natwest was the last. Whilst it might seem odd, I suppose the logic is that if you are good enough to get another Natwest group card and willing to make the effort then you could get a card elsewhere. So they might as well let you transfer for another fee rather than lose your custom.
