Family Holiday Insurance

Wife, 2 kids and I are planning to visit Disneyland Paris for 5 days in September.

Don't know a lot about Travel Insurance, but I have been quoted £29 for the trip, Is that a good price?

    I've been Money Tipped!
I got quoted £48 for three weeks to Germany with two kids so it does seem a lot for five days, to me anyway. Take a look under the holiday insurance link on the site. Depends on how much cover you want to have etc and whether you have any health problems which need to be declared etc such as asthma etc.

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1083570446,24889,

I'm going to France in the summer for 8 days with the kids and the best I've seen is around £10-£17 One adult plus 2 children, a five year old and one under five.

Between £13.09 and £16.37 for reasonable cover with Insure and Go.

Whatever you do check what the cover is to make a like for like comparison.
FWIW £29 for family cover sounds reasonable to me as long as 1 There is adequate medical cover 2 Adequate delayed departure cover 3 Adequate lost/stolen cash cover (travellers cheques count as cash).
    Have a good time.

I always use https://www.moneysupermarket.com Click travel insurance and get a quote. As ejones999 says always compare like for like quotes.

I booked my summer holiday insurance for me, my wife and our 7 year old. Two weeks insurance in the Algarve came to £26.03 from gosure.com.

But... We're having a 4 night short break later in year to Spain, and gosure.com still quoted £24, very little difference from the 15 day trip.

I've booked insurance for this particular 4 day trip with gotravelinsurance.co.uk for £13.70. The moral is that the best quote for a trip of any particular duration may not be best for another trip of a different length.

    Cheers
