Hi,
I have a Teka DW7 56 FI dishwasher, which is about 5 years old.
Yesterday, I put the dishwasher on for a full cycle, as normal, but a couple of hours later, I couldn’t hear any noise from it and so I returned to investigate whether it had finished. However, it seems that mid cycle, it has lost all power and when the power button is pushed, nothing happens.
I have tried changing the fuses in all the plugs but this makes no difference and so leads me to believe that it is a fault with the dishwasher itself.
Has anyone any experience of these dishwashers or any idea as to what might have gone wrong? Bearing in mind the potential call out charge to get someone to look at it, is it worth thinking about fixing it or is the best option just to scrap it and buy a new dishwasher?
TIA

Have you checked that other things are working on the same circuit? If not, it could be the trip switch. I've been caught out myself!

The dishwasher seems to have its own circuit, as does the washing machine. However, I have traced the wiring back to the dishwasher and it seems to be plugged into an extension lead, so I have taken that off, changed the fuse in the plug and tried a different extension lead into a separate wall socket. But still no joy...
Haven!!!8217;t tried checking the electronics for burn marks, so I might try taking the door cover off and having a look. What is the worst that can happen, eh?!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
I shouldn't think they'd be on separate circuits, my box has switches for 1. oven/hob/dish washer/washing machine; 2. kitchen power sockets (i.e. other than 1); 3. kitchen lights; etc., etc.0
