A 50/50 claim has similar impact on your future premiums as if it is decided 100% you to blame
Going to re-quote to clarify...50/50 will have same consequences as 100% liability.
So makes no odds...insurance will go up and certainly with our insurer they ask about accident for 3 years.0 -

Sad in your a passenger pardon the pun...you dont to decide its the insurance and ultimately the judge.
It's not "sad" though! The alternative would be an expensive option!
If you aren't happy with insurers deciding (who are the ones paying out), then you would have to let a judge decide liability for every claim - in court!
Clearly the individual drivers aren't going to agree who was liable!
You agree to your insurer deciding how to deal with claims when you take out the policy!0
