New Leather Suite, how to protect?
Comments
-
Leather is not skin and cannot be compared to it, it is dead skin that has been through a highly complex and sophisticated chemical (or vegetable) process to produce leather which is then finished in a variety of ways to create what people want. It is this finsih that needs protecting because if this breaks down the leather itself will start to deteriorate which then cannot be fixed. Anything with a pH at either end of the pH scale will damage the finish on leather, baby wipes come into theis category. Once this has happened the leather itself becomes open to dirt and oils which will begin the deterioration. If the leather is protected and looked after it will last a lifetime.
Why do you not believe professional technicians who see this sort of damage all the time and have a workshop constantly testing ptoducts?Lots of knowledge about leather0 -
Why can't people just 'agree to disagree'?
I am sure judyb replied to my query in a very genuine manner and as far as I can judge what she says makes very good sense.............why are SOME people so quick to criticise? it seems they get some kind of enjoyment out of putting people down:rolleyes:
Why not just reply with your opinion and let people choose the method they think the most appropriate?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well, thank you for all your tips:TWhen man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0
