Do you know how the disability premiums are being processed?
Thank you
It doesn't make any sense for claims to be processed in NI number sequence. The end result could be people at the far end of the alphabet never being processed. When I worked on benefit processing everything was date stamped on receipt and processed in date order. One of the main checks done, certainly on new claims, is how long it has taken to process it. I would expect it to be a major performance marker for any other part of the organisation who are processing claims or changes to claims.0 -
Thank you for answering again.
I think I'll phone the main ESA number again tomorrow and ask how my application is going and ask where it is being processed, is it first come first served and an estimate on when it will be processed.
I sent form to ESA in April and received Enhanced Disability Premium in May, backdated to February 2018.
I'll keep this thread updated to help anyone else.

The agent in Torquay who informed me I have to wait for my national ins no to be in a batch ready to be processed, and then go through another application to see if I'm eligible for any premiums doesn't seem logical, when I've already been assessed in April.0
