Recommendations for storage unit companies

I have some stuff in store at SafeStore at present. Up till now they have accepted my stuff is covered under Possessions away from home, Home insurance with LV. This year they say it is not, the policy has to specifically name Safestore. At first they told me a letter from LV confirming I was covered at their address would suffice, I supplied that and now they say it is not acceptable, I have to supply a policy with their address as the formal address. I think it is all a scam to extract more money from me.
So as a quickie here, can anyone recommend a storage unit company where you can provide your own insurance and it is not compulsary to use theirs. One reason for moving on from SureSafe is that they now want £80 a quarter, minimum, to insure my stuff and it is not worth that.
(This is a continuation of a discussion I originally posted on the insurance forum but I am hoping someone here may be able to recommend a storage company they have used.)

When I moved home, I had to put my belongings in storage for 6 months . Not cheap, iirc but Big Yellow Storage were great people to deal with . Hope this helps .0
