Are your buyers chain free or are they selling too? If selling how long is the lower part of the chain?
Are your buyers on holiday (it is the summer ish)?
Have they at least shown the estate agent proof they can by, mortgage offer etc.
Have they given solicitor's details?
How long is the complete chain? Are you sure it's complete at both ends?
I would really consider breaking the chain as it sounds overly complicated ATM.0 -
Hi All
Thanks for your replies, much appreciated.
So it turns out that our purchaser also made an offer on another house and has been waiting for that to go through the whole time, despite their mortgage application on our house going through, ergo the radio silence. Our house is being relisted today so fingers crossed. Going to be positive and hope it means that our vendors resolve the issue in the same time frame that it takes to sell ours.0 -

We are in the same position
We have accepted an offer , and offered on a property
However we have no clue what the upper chain looks like
And because of this will hold out doing any searches / however will be getting our mortgage in place0 -
Hi All
So the house went back up for sale last Friday and we have been extremely lucky to secure another buyer the following morning. Which is great news, however now our vendors are very quietThey confessed to the EA that they were avoiding the a as they didn!!!8217;t have any answers, but I don!!!8217;t think its unreasonable to ask that if they are saying they are going to view houses, whether they have made a decision on whether to offer. We!!!8217;re now on 10 weeks since we offered on the house but feel like it is slipping away despite our best efforts. So tomorrow we!!!8217;re going to view others so we have an idea of what else is out there if this falls through. Just feel gutted that it might
