Burden of proof is on the claimant not the defendant. He has to prove that happened, not for Santander to disprove it. Try not to spread misinformation like this

Lol, it wouldn't have hurt his argument through. I work in PPI industry and I know what I'm talking about.

Your posting history would seem to indicate that your expertise is in Parking fines, no?

It wouldn't hurt but it wouldn't help given it's completely wrong, your post implies he just needs to make a claim and expect the bank to disprove it or he wins by default which is completely the opposite of the reality. Your other posts suggest you maybe work low level in a PPI claims firm given your advice is wrong on at least 2 posts

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You needed to address these points with the Bank as part of your complaint, the next stage is to now refer your complaint to the Ombudsman if you remain dissatisfied. No point moaning about it here on a forum..

I didn't reject your complaint, so little point attacking me.
As above, just refer your complaint to the Ombudsman.
