Passport Worries - 4 Weeks To Travel!

Hi there, first time poster and first time flyer very anxious about potential "damage" to my passport due to it folding along the ID page. And some water that got on the non-biometric page a few years ago (I got the passport in 2013 hoping to use it for a holiday that never transpired so it was used as my ID for a small while before I got my provisional license) I have been assured by many people that this will be fine but I believe this damage is likely to get me turned away as I'm flying from Manchester to Seattle.USA in 4 weeks
I'm considering the 1 Week Fast Track service but obviously going to my nearest passport office, getting new photos countersigned etc. etc.and the cost are a lot when I'm still saving for America and have only 4 weeks to get it done and believe risking the "3 weeks" turnaround on a regular replacement would be cutting it very fine, especially as I'll also need a new ESTA for the new passport. There is none of the "major damage" listed on the HMPO website (no lifting laminate, ink or chemical spillage, discolouration to the biometric page etc.)
Any help either confirming my fears for need of renewal or letting me know I'm making a mountain out of a molehill would be appreciated.
Pictures ("damage" is the two crease lines and the "scratch" to the surface of the laminate. Tested and the machine readable area is still completely readable and you can still see my picture unless the light catches the scratch, have had to put (DOT) due to forum rules, I promise no scamming/spamming):

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Some of the UV features may be damaged.
I'd say you need a new passport.0 -
You don't need photos countersigned if you are still recognisableAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
-
i wouldn't risk going to USA with that0
-
How about go to the local airport and ask to see if they would accept it - If your picture is still recognisable I would let you throughIf I ruled the world.......0
-
As other have said, not worth loosing the cot of the USA holiday for the price of a replacement passport and peace of mind.0
-
If you can do the online renewal, mine was back in under a week last week. Although you may want to phone the passport office to ask for advice. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
To replace a damaged passport quickly you should use the one week fast track service.

I've just done the online one, took 2 weeks though we didn't post the passport back for 3 days so 15 days less 3 really, 12 days in total.0
