How to make Sheet1 the same as a Cell in Excel

Try changing the vba code lines:
after line …= "" then exit sub
Insert
Target = Format(Target, "Long Date")
This format will be then for example "April 17, 2004" and will be suitable for the sheet name.....from memory!0 -
Unfortunately this comes up as an error.
The Cell E3 contains a date - 01/01/18 but it won't allow /

yes, when you rename the sheet, use dashes instead of slashes.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
