How to make Sheet1 the same as a Cell in Excel

    Try changing the vba code lines:



    after line …= "" then exit sub

    Insert

    Target = Format(Target, "Long Date")


    This format will be then for example "April 17, 2004" and will be suitable for the sheet name.....from memory!

    yes, when you rename the sheet, use dashes instead of slashes.

    I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
