Microsoft Works

Options
Anyone know where I could download a copy of Microsoft Works 8 as for some reason the Works converter is not working with my version of Word 2016?

I used to have it a long time ago but I think it went with the rubbish I threw out.

At least I still have the key for it.

Word should be able to the Works files already?
some minor formatting errors may occur but the text itself should be retrievable, possibly in its raw state.

If it's an important document, I believe Libre Office can deal with it.

So there is nowhere I can download a copy of Works 8 from?

I have tried Googling but I end up on dodgy looking sites.

No, if you had a corporate gold subscription to microsoft you might be able to download it, but us regular people there's not going to be a legal way to download it.
You could buy the installation medium of eBay. If you've got a legal key then there's nothing wrong with that.

I already have Office 2016 which for some strange reason will not open .wps files even though I have the Works converter

    I also have LibreOffice.

I have 1000's of Works files I thought I would have a look at and wanted Works to do this but since it does not appear to be downloadable anywhere I will use LibreOffice.
