The poor mare sounds desperate for either money or company.

You must have two very old pillows you could send, and maybe an old drainer? :rotfl:

Humm, perhaps not, she'd want to charge for the use you've had . . .

You could ask for the original purchase receipts before you consider her answer. £50? Were they from Harrods or something?
An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......

I bought two pillows for £80. And than was a reduced price. So they could cost that much! (Yes the pillows are worth it, I am picky!)

Though not the sort of things you would put in a retal. In fact pillows provided in a retal. Yuck! Does that like actually happen?

No landlord in the country spends £50 on two pillows and a drainer.

I worked in B&Q for a long time. It seemed there was some kind of code among landlords.

They would normally ask about a problem they need to solve. I would answer the problem telling them what tools and products they needed. To which they would always reply.... 'o i dont live in it, its for a rental'. At that point i was expected to disregard any idea of doing a proper job and would be limited to solving something like rising damp with a tub of magnolia and a tube of silicon sealant.
