Downloading transactions

I bank with Nationwide.

The Internet banking interface appears to offer the opportunity to download transactions to use in the clients own spreadsheet or banking program. I have been using the facility for some time in order to keep track of my personal finances. I use KMyMoney, the Personal Finance Manager for KDE.
My problem is that sometimes there is a gap in the records and frequently the dates of downloaded transactions do not match those on my statement.
I the latest instance I wanted to download transactions for my Select Credit Card. I chose the OFX format and saved the file to my computer. When the file was imported to my program I discovered that all transactions from 29/5 to 11/6 were missing (9 transactions) In addition the dates did not match e.g. My payment to the card was shown as 28/5 on the download but 29/5 on the statement.
Have other finance program users had the same problem. Is it just with Nationwide? Most of my text above is my complaint to them.
