We invested in somes friends company and received bi monthly bonuses we have just found out by ringing the offices they rented that they left there place of buisness 3-4 weeks ago and have gone bankrupt we have nothing legal in writing just a typed letter and lots of e-mails with excuses why our payments have been delayed if there anything we can do

Have they officially been declared bankrupt - if so, you can probably register as a creditor. But it probably won't get you anywhere - find some new friends, never lend them money, and chalk it up to experience.0
