If you want a survey of the entire property, instruct an RICS surveyor, but speak to him first, explain the history, and get confirmation he will comment on it in his report.
He may refer you to a SE, but he may be able to reassure you himself by checking for external evidence eg of ongoing subsidence etc
Frankly any event that was that long ago, if it was badly dealt with, it would be obbvious by now.0
