tsb credit card

I have had a TSB credit card since Dec 2016 and was paying minimum monthly repayments intending to pay in full when the 0% period ended. It was paying 1% cashback until June '18, I've just had the last payment.

But I can't see my statement. it won't download, can't find the opening paperwork, and the terms online only tells the standard interest rate.

Can anyone remember how long the interest free period lasted on that offer? Should I change my standing order?

Give them a call. There are so many different offers that you don't want to rely on someone's else's guess.

You can change your standing order if you want, or make manual payments. Hopefully your minimum payments have been correct though, if you've been relying on an SO.
  • It was DD from a tsb account set up to take the minimum

That's ok then - standing orders are something different, and can cause problems if used for minimum payments.

DDs are fine as they are controlled by the lender.

20 months IIRC. TSB only tell you the end date on the second to last statement, that is the one and only heads up you get. Even the agreement does not give you an actual date, you have to assume it is x months from the date on the contract.

Everyone has an issue with TSB statements. Im not looking forward to cancelling as it takes about an hour to get through to the right person in the first place, but id want to be able to download the statement first as well, which at this rate will be in a very long time

I closed a tsb credit card one evening this week. The call took 17 minutes. Longer than it should have taken, but nothing like I feared it could take.
