Help Urgent Help Needed Comp Wont Start

help i for some reason just changed my clock speed in bios from 200 mhz to 300 mhz, dunno why, but ever since then when i turn my pc on all i get is a black screen and a fan that sounds like it is gonna take off, windows wont load up and i dont even get the screen up where i can get into bios to change it back, any help would be gratefully appreciated as i am on my phone at the moment and i cant do without my pc, i know i was dadu for changing the setting but had no idea this would happen PLEASE HELP THANKS DAVE

Basically by overclocking, you are overworking your CPU

What motherboard have you got?

You may have to reset the CMOS by using the reset jumper switch, but we can identify where it is if you can tell us what board you have

thanks, somebody else gave me the answer, as i put this thread up using my phone, it put it up twice for some reason, i did not know i was overclocking, bit thick at those sort of things, but yes i did need to reset my cmos, luckily i still had my motherboard book, so i was able to find the correct jumper through that, but thanks for your reply, much appreciated, many thanks Dave.
