Upvc door with side panels

Options
Hi, We just had a uPVC door fitted with 2 side panels (half glazed). Side panels are wobbly and shake when you are closing the door very gently. I am worried that the glass can break when the door slam. Could you advise if this is normal on uPVC doors that side panels are wobbly or it's not fitted right? Overall size is width 195cm height 203cm and door in the middle Many thanks

It is the nature of uPVC that it will flex when you shut the door but I wouldn't say it should wobble as such.
Which bit is moving? if it is the outside of the frame that is moving then that would be a fitting problem if it is just the uPVC flexing then its fine.

Go to other people's houses & see how it compares. They are not the most sturdy of things.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • It's were the door 'meets' the panel, it shakes even when closing gently. When it's shut and locked (handle up) it's fairly solid

sorry not sure how to explain it better
  • I was thinking of doing it
